"No Mas" Trump

Post # 342, Bob McKnight's Florida Commentary

Donald Trump has had problems with women and minorities. He did not look at his debate opponent who just happened to be an intelligent and educated African American woman. He did not do well.

After Vice President Kamala Harris replaced President Joe Biden as the Democrat nominee for President, her opponent, Donald Trump bragged, 'I will debate her any time and anyplace.' That boast set well with his base after he bested Biden in their only debate. Trump ignored the facts in the Biden debate that almost all of his assertions in the Biden debate were either wrong or lies. Trump also failed to acknowledge that he had almost no knowledge of the issues and had difficulty completing coherent sentences. But his public position was 'bring her on.'

The Trump-Harris debate was last week with the following results, among others:

  • Harris knew the issues and presented them with both force and care.

  • Harris skillfully got under Trump's skin with reference to his frail ego and the need to be falsely praised by others.

  • Harris adroitly pointed out that Trump crowds were getting smaller and failing to stay for event duration due to boredom. Trump became unglued.

  • Trump was thrown off by Harris's skillful debate and went into an emotional presentation that was incoherent several times.

  • As always in debate, Trump lied and spread falsehoods.

  • Perhaps Trump's only truthful statement was when asked about his health care plan announced 9 years ago. He-+ said it is still in the concepts stage today but would be great.

Knowing he got trounced in the debate with Vice President Harris, Trump said he won the debate and therefore would not agree to any more debates.

Trump made a wise decision. He knows he is out of his league and could only lose more support in a debate with Vice President Harris. Perhaps his new boast should be, "I will not debate her again any time nor any place. No Mas."
