China is seeking to hire the US Intelligence

Staff fired by Trump's DOGE.

Donald Trump is nothing if not interested in both himself and vengeance. Among the first actions he took after his re-election was firing any government employees he felt were not loyal to him. The process of selecting those candidates for immediate termination has been largely undefined, but to use almost any criteria, including irrational whims, to make the terminations. Trump would then give the job to a non-elected, non-Senate-confirmed private businessman like Elon Musk, who has billions of dollars in business with the federal government. Trump called this termination vehicle DOGE--Department of Governmental Efficiency.

Among the first agencies Musk attacked was the National Security and Intelligence Agency. Trump never listened to those people in his first term, and never read their findings or recommendations, so the terminations were of no concern to the President. Trump and Musk knew that their good friend, Russian President Vladimir Putin, would appreciate those terminations as well.

After the terminations, it is now becoming known that China has sought out the fired staff of the security and intelligence agencies for employment. As reported by a government newsletter, NEXTGOV/FCW, China is recruiting these individuals through consulting firms. The individuals are said to be loyal Americans, but after their abrupt terminations, in many cases for no reason given, they are seeking employment. The employment is said not to violate any US confidential contracts or protections. Retribution shown to the workers by Trump could result in retribution by the staff back at Trump in return.

This is another reason that the personality and behavior of a person like Donald Trump do not fit well in something as complex and dangerous as the President of the United States. It is much like the tariffs with Trump--very complex with hidden dangers. The threat is too much for a simple and vindictive mind like Donald Trump.

Trump does not realize he is helping the very enemy he is trying to conquer, China.
